Team from Iran...

Great sportsman and very high caliber of powerlifting. I like everything about them! Sports is truly a International forum for countries. I see great things for this country in Powerlifting and I look forward to supporting their efforts.

Teams of destiny...

In the WPC, there has been  tremendous improvement in the development of International teams. A higher caliber of sportsman and the results on the winning platform.

National Minister of Youth and Sport in Baku, Azerbaijan

Azad Rahimov, he reports to the President of the Azerbaijan. We shared philosophies, passions for sports and the youth of the World. He is a good man!...and the right man for the job!...the WPC is committed to his and Azerbaijan's success, and that is the bottom line!

Major Television coverage...

In Baku, they love WPC Powerlifting and want more. That is President of the Eurasia Group, Yuriy Ustinov, they are the largest member of the WPC.

Looking at the cameras...

Press conference...

All the major media outlets and newspapers were there...That is Yuriy Ustinov to my right. He is the President of the Eurasia Group, the largest lifter population and most credible judging of the WPC. Before the Championship, there was a formal Judging-meeting to insure the judges were on the same level.

Baku...Best Lifter...

...on an "off" day he still was best lifter and 2000 dollars richer..
