In the World Powerlifting Congress, we focus on the lifter and create paths for lifting extreme weight. Safety in our number one concern! Than realistic, standardized rules and structure. Unlike other powerlifting organizations, the WPC addresses all the concerns and input of the athlete. A record set in our organization is the gold standard for the rest of the World! At every International Championship, International Officials are on hand to insure the integrity of the accepted rules!
We encourage innovation in training methods, we encourage innovation in equipment design per the rules, and we encourage innovation in sports medicine. The DO NOT encourage any unlawful activity!
