Sport complex "Salyut"

Includes a stadium and two complexes. The stadium, which has two stands with a capacity of 6,000 seats, includes an artificial football field of the 4th generation, an athletics track of 400 meters (6 tracks), two track and field sectors: the northern one for pushing the core and jumps in height, the southern one for jumps in height and length.

The first complex, the year of construction 2008, includes a universal sports hall in 1104 square meters for conducting competitions plus locker rooms with showers, sound and lighting equipment, spectator stands for 500 seats and a gym. The second complex, built in 2014, includes a swimming pool 25x21m (8 tracks), two children's pools, an ice arena with stands for 270 seats, a universal hall, a multipurpose room, a gym, fencing, sports dancing, boxing and kickboxing , martial arts, karate, as well as a hall for the less-mobile groups. The sports and health complex has a parking and eco-park with a capacity of about 300 cars. The sports and recreation complex Salyut is located in Dolgoprudny, Raketostroiteley Avenue, Building 4, which is 5 km from MKAD

South Korea wants more than a million spectators for the Games that start in February and expects 70 percent to be locals. But if South Koreans are excited about the Games, they didn't fully show it during the first phase of ticket sales between February and June -- the 52,000 tickets purchased by locals during the period were less than 7 percent of the 750,000 seats organizers aim to sell domestically.
