Emma James has accepted the responsibility of WPC Country Head...there were several qualified individuals that showed interest....Emma is the best choice and rather than delayed and try to sort out difficult issues, with difficult people, with the BPC...she and her staff have boldly decided to build the WPC UK from the ground up... new...fresh inputs and concerns from the lifters...this new dynamic branch of the WPC is the British Powerlifting Union...Cheers and Well Done!

2014 Border War Announcement...Joe Smolin
I am happy to announce that the UK will be an official country of the 2014 BORDER WAR. Emma James President of the WPC affiliated British Powerlifting Union has already placed the event on the schedule for 2014! We ALL look forward to 2014!

The WPC will always address individuals lying for their own gain..anybody...anywhere!

"Right - apparently at the Bodypower today, Brian announced they were still
affiliated with the WPC and also were announcing WPC WORLD RECORDS and handing
out world record claim forms. I only found out afterwards.
This is despicable allowing lifters to think they were still part of the WPC and
lying that they could take and were taking world records. Didier from France is
one of them and he was told he took a world bench record today. I am trying to
get video footage so I can get evidense of the announcement.
I'm going to have to find out who was told they broke records and try and
rectify this somehow.
It wasn't even a sanctioned event - let alone WpC affiliated.
Advice or help needed please."

...you can't make this shit up...BODYPOWER 2013
..the "past" UK WPC country head told a World Class Bench Presser from France that the Championship was recognized by the WPC(which it was not) and had him fill out a WPC World Record paperwork after his World Record...this lifter trained, cycled, traveled all based on the information of one man...who in the end screwed him!
...this man should not only live in SNAP CITY, he should be MAYOR!!!
