He won't be in the Olympics!!!!
The "free diver" below was allowed to breath pure oxygen for ten minutes before the event. He put something into his body for an unfair advantage. Sounds stupid...it is, but that's the mentality of the Olympics.
Interesting....
Peter Colat, a Swiss freediver, has held his breath underwater for 19 minutes and 21 seconds, smashing the world record.
Switzerland's Peter Colat held his breath for 19 minutes and 21 seconds while being underwater. Colat, 38, performed the feat in a water tank in St Gallen, Switzerland.
The previous Guinness World Record for oxygen-assisted static apnea was 19 seconds shorter and was set by an Italian, Nicola Putignano, last May.
Colat, an experienced diver from Zurich, said the first 12 minutes was no problem.
He said: "I felt the first need to breathe very late, but because of this it was even stronger."
Under the Guinness rules he was allowed to inhale pure oxygen 10 minutes prior to his attempt.

Look Below!
The post is of Ano of Finland and one of his lifters. Ano is the GREATEST heavy weight powerlifter ever to compete in the WPC! As an organization we are always looking to improve the presentation of the championship and the lifter. How many times have we seen briefs showing under a squat of deadlift suit?
Look at the video, you can see the uniform of the lifter matches 100%. Even the long leg sleeves look good. The appearance of the lifter on the platform is more appealing. For the 2011 AGM meeting I am suggesting we allow this "full uniform look"...in all three lifts send me your opinions........................................
